Behind the Barn is a very personal piece. The composition suggests the title, and the activity is a suggestion of the (bad) behavior..taking place behind a barn, perhaps.

The people are my father (left) and my grandfather (right), taken about 1950..and they are doing what Polish men liked to do..”a shot” before church Easter morning…probably!
